In 2004 Dr. Max Huber Realbüro celebrated its 80th anniversary, looking back on a company history of continuous expansion and consistently high quality of real estate consulting.

The company was founded in 1924 by Fritz Wilhelm, whose field of business covered brokerage of agricultural and forestry properties in Styria. After the Second World War, Dr. Max Huber sen. and his wife took over the company, expanding their portfolio by adding residential and commercial properties.

Due to the company’s success and the economic growth of the post-war period, Realbüro expanded and opened its second office in Vienna in 1958. Almost 12 years later, Dr. Max Huber Realbüro carried out activities on the international estate market in Canada for the first time, thus achieving a further major landmark in the company’s achievements.

An international network of associate partners was established and has been continually rising for more than 30 years, reinforced by Dr. Max Huber becoming managing director in 1982. Under Dr. Huber’s guidance the foundation of the first offices of Realbüro in Budapest and Prague took place in 1989, in 1995 the franchise system DMH has been established.

In 2002 the company pooled its excellent international contacts in the establishment of a subsidiary company – Dr. Max Huber & Partner, located in the city centre of Vienna.

In addition to real estate consultation and the international network’s expansion, Dr. Max Huber Realbüro focuses on the market’s rising quality requirement. By ensuring internationally recognized standards and in close cooperation with real estate science and research the company accounts for these trends and continues its strategy, successful for 3 generations, into the 21st century.
